Sono in 1944 to Budapest, Hungary. My father was a mechanical engineer, constructor of gliders, specialist, creator rinomato more than ventisei types than glider. Therefore the successive step in my studies naturally became the University of Technical Education of Budapest, and, in 1967, I have obtained here my diploma of architect. I still have passion for the architecture, that it has the most complex activities that arrange the more characteristic aspects of science, the technique and the limbs. With my diploma they are still not felt a man to me completely prepared and I have continued my studies in the section of architecture of inner in the Advanced School of the Decorative Limbs. My according to diploma it gave to the title it to me of designer; me it has been given in 1970. These studies me have rendered the artistic elements sensitive. Sin from the 1970 has been constantly in the Advanced School, teaching of architecture of inner plan and, designs, constructions and to plans planning of mobilio, studies of the shape descriptive geometry. To teach is the best way in order to learn, still is convinced of that; going beyond in our acquaintance we continue to discover and to learn. Beyond to that this activity us every force time to one new formulation of whom we want to express, us force to new tests, the constant search of new methods. The constant connections with the adolescence help us to having always one perspective juvenile, us render able to be strange to us constantly [...] are married to Me in 1977; my moglie is architect of inner. [...] the space has always intrigued me, with its incredibly rich possibilities, alteration of the spaces with architetturali objects, transformation of objects in the space (sculptures, design), movement in the space and the time, their correlation, their repercussion on mankind, the relation between the man and the space, the object and the time. I task that the Cube rose from these interests, from this search for the expression and this more and more grown sharpness towards these thoughts [...] appeals to Me to play, admits it, in particalare with the games in which the partner, the true adversary, it is the same nature, with its truly particular but decipherable mysteries. For me the game more interesting is that one of the space, the search of possible shapes of the space that is like saying logic and realizes construction of several disposizioni.

Sicuramente cannot say the exact moment of the birth of an idea, to me seems impossible, to me in particular, for who the time, from this point of view, has interest much small. It could have been in the spring of 1974 that the idea me came like one worthy possibility of famous. I had a nature attacked to the experience, therefore, sin from the beginning, I have studied variations of a cube 2x2x2. immediately I was hit from the wealth that could be intuita already from this beginning. The final technical solution, that it is the simpler shape 3x3x3, easiest to work in the models, after little tests, came me for the end of the autumn of 1974. Many ready models to the working were made from me and from my friends, it was much beautiful one to play us for before the time. We were all surprises to discover that gradually we had constructed something of originates them, new. A issue of the licence of the invention immediately was raised, therefore began the necessary procedure 30 January of 1975. Nearly in the same way, perceiving the importance of the invented game, its possibilities and its real value, I began to try a partner for the manufacture and with an extraordinary fortune of it I found truly one. The continuation is truly simple: after this launch on market (1977) the game became, quickly and like for magic, much popular one in Hungary, therefore, from 1980 all over the world. I know solo as the history begins and that we cannot preview of an end, therefore like nobody, task, is in a position to previewing the futuro.
